News report images

When an official Council notice includes artwork or a photograph, the report credits Mareeba Shire Council and links to that notice. Reports based only on meeting minutes use a clearly labelled Council minutes panel instead of an unrelated illustrative photograph.

Regional file photos

The photographs below are real images from Mareeba and Chillagoe. When one appears as general regional context, it is labelled as a file photo. A file photo does not depict the specific event or decision described beside it.
