Innot Hot Springs

Natural geothermal hot springs on the Atherton Tablelands. Soak in mineral-rich thermal waters surrounded by open woodland - one of Queensland's hidden gems.

About the Hot Springs

Innot Hot Springs is a small township about 90km southwest of Mareeba, named after the natural geothermal springs that bubble up along Nettle Creek. The springs are heated by volcanic activity deep underground - the same geological forces that created the Atherton Tablelands.

Water emerges from the ground at temperatures up to 73°C, but mixes with cooler creek water to create bathing pools typically around 34-42°C - perfect for a relaxing soak. The mineral-rich water contains silica, fluoride, and various trace minerals.
